Hello, I’m Alexis—a husband, a father, and an IT professional. At my core, I’m an engineer with a passion for automation and the drive to solve complex problems. I believe in purposeful innovation: using technology to create real-world value, not just for its own sake ( looking at you, AI ).

My toolkit is ever-expanding. As a dedicated Linux guy ( I use Arch, btw ), I’m constantly changing configs and breaking my system through experimentation. I’m currently diving deep into programming with Python and learning Go, while also exploring the world of cybersecurity on my journey to earn a penetration testing certification. After all, who doesn’t want to be a hacker?

This blog is where I document it all—sharing what I learn as I build open-source projects, review my failures and maybe even master vim motions.

My ultimate goal is simple: build a life where I can spend more time with my kids and work because I want to, not because I have to.
